Sneaky Peek of my new baby.   This little one is for the Nursery Baby Doll Challenge.  My theme is Humpty Dumpty.  See the big bib, block and doll, I got them on Etsy from a wonderful seller.  Humpty Dumpty no longer sits on the wall, he has learned his lesson.  Now his job is to watch over the little Princess, who I need to name.  I am thinking Daffne.  She will have a bleached blond wig that I am waiting for and her arms and legs are almost done.  Update:  Arms & Leggies finished and strung.  Now we just need a wig to arrive : )  She has a mom also.

Finally, I was up to get a little dolly fun in.  My Nursery Baby is coming along.  I still have the little arms and leggies to do and paint but the face is ready to paint, yeah!  I am hoping this one will be whimsical and fun. 

Mostly, want to say, Happy Easter! 

I will be spending Easter with family at my oldest daughter's house.  This will be fun her first Easter with her baby, Sophia.

So excited.  My two entrants are now turned in to Paul at The Doll Net, yeah!  Win or not, it's just plain fun since cloth baby dolls are my very favorite thing and I am soooo looking forward to seeing all the dolls.  What a daunting thing for Paul with all the entrants to organize.  Bless him.

Now I am working on my Nursery themed doll but just did the head so far so ways to go on this one.  Happy though to have a vision and see it through on the other dollies and looking forward to seeing this one and what it will turn out to be as dolls definetely have a mind of there own when being constructed.

I am looking forward to my grandbabies first Easter.  Can you tell? LOL.  So happy to have her here this year.

I am happy today.   I had a chance to sew and get to see Sophia later.  It is not the nicest day, cold, gray and windy but the woodstove is on and it is nice.  It feels like Fall, my favorite time of year.

My first Doll Net challenge baby is done and my second one is almost done.  I also started my Nursery Challenge baby for CDA.  So fun.  I can't wait to show pics of these but Doll Net babies will have to wait until June but Nursery Baby I can show when she is done.  Are you working on yours?  I had a hard time coming up with a theme since I don't make clothes or costumes except for a few simple ones I have done.  I found some cute ideas and came up with something though!  Now I want to do a whole bunch of Nursery Rhyme themed babies : )

Is everyone working on their Doll-net contest dolls?  I am not sure if my current one will be for that or not.  Will decide later so not sure when I will show this one. 

I'd love to hear what everyone else is doing.  How about the latest Cloth Doll Artistry Baby Doll challenge?  I have been thinking about it but haven't yet come up with a nursery rhyme project but we have until June on that one : )

Well, it's almost Easter, spring is here!  I added some pics of my sweet Sophia Tia and I took today.  She is getting so big.

I also am showing a photo baby I did.  She is waiting for her vintage dress to come in the mail.  She is available.  I am making a couple more, they are from pics of Sophia, and I will keep one for me of course!  The soft sculpt is a little lali pattern I found on Etsy I did for fun.  Super cute pattern and great seller.

Mostly I just took it quickly to show something new as I haven't shown anything is such a while.  Here is a close up before she had limbs, ignore the half done dolly next to her LOL.
